CFP Deadline: Abstracts of 250 words and a brief biographical note must be submitted by 29 June 2018

The Department of Languages, Linguistics and Literature at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill is inviting papers that explore themes related to Caribbean Science/Speculative Fiction (SF). We invite papers that focus on multiple forms of SF that explore but are not limited to the following topics:

  • Theorizing Caribbean SF
  • Post-colonial SF
  • Feminist SF
  • Utopian/Dystopian futures
  • Post-human Caribbean
  • Ecological future-scapes
  • Caribbean graphic novels
  • Caribbean folk futures
