El Museo del Barrio, Queens Museum of Art, and the Studio Museum in Harlem invite college and university faculty to join us for a light brunch and talk with curators about the upcoming exhibition Caribbean: Crossroads of the World, opening June 12, 2012. The day will include time to share your suggestions for incorporating the Caribbean exhibition, publication and programs into coursework, and how the museums can support your access to resources.

NOTE: There will be free hands-on art making workshops provided during the brunch for children ages 5-12. Guests are granted free admission to the galleries, featuring two new exhibitions: TESTIMONIOS: 100 Years of Popular Expression and VOCES Y VISIONES: Gran Caribe.

1:30 pm – Presentation of CARIBBEAN: Crossroads of the World exhibition and symposium followed by Q&A
2:00 pm – Break-out Sessions: Discussion and brainstorming sessions with colleagues and museum staff
2:30 pm – Re-cap in El Cafe
