CALL FOR PAPERS:

Faculty, independent researchers, scholars, and students are invited to submit proposals that examine the impact and representation of race, politics, culture, identity, and history in the historical and contemporary narratives present in the works of one of the following writers:

  • Maryse Condé
  • Walter Mosley
  • Quincy Troupe
  • Derek Walcott
  • John Oliver Killens

The Presentation of papers will be held during the conference on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Interested faculty, independent researchers, and students should forward a one-to-two page proposal with literature references by January 21, 2014 to:
